About the author

Karina is a poet and a writer. She is an IT engineer by qualification and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University. Her journey with writing began at a young age, and poetry has appealed to her ever since. Her eureka moment was when she realized she could combine her passion for social change with her penchant for writing. She often writes to call attention to social issues, as she believes that the written word can be used to bring about positive change in society.

Karina is the author of chapbooks Skies of Hope (2024) and Love and More… (2025) and a shayari collection. Days Become Years (2026) is her first full-length poetry collection. Her articles and poetry have appeared in Mensa World Journal and MInd Magazine (Mensa India Magazine).
